SearcHive are proud to be working with a high calibre Leisure and Wellbeing business in Berkshire, to recruit a Financial Controller.
A family owned and run business they continue to innovate and have big plans for growth including the opening of two hotels in 2025 and some exciting developments for their Gym members.
Reporting directly to the CEO this is a new role for the company and will require someone who can bring further financial rigour and digitization to the organisation. You will be qualified with at least 5 years PQE and have operated as a Finance Manager/Controller in the past since you will touch all aspects of financial management and reporting.
Job Role
- Managing all day to day accounting operations and controls
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of financial forecasts (up to 3 years)
- Preparation of the annual accounts for review by external accountants
- Successful operation of the monthly payroll
- Preparation of weekly snapshot reports for the senior leadership team
- Co-ordinating the management of cash flow and debt collection
