We've a fantastic opportunity to join our Products & Channels Digital Business Analyst Team. We're a team that deliver channels that enable our customers' access to their personal and business banking services when and how they want to. We deliver across a range of technologies. We deliver across a range of technologies including web and mobile. We believe in collaboration, with Agile delivery practices being at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for a senior business analyst who is ambitious, loves the analytical and collaborative side of being a technologist but also is someone who will ensure that the customer experience is always at the heart of it. We're seeking someone who is highly motivated and is actively looking for their next permanent career challenge.

What you'll be doing

  • Working as part of a multi-disciplined Squad delivering work in Sprints
  • Leading business analysis activities to ensure your team has all the information they need to keep things moving
  • Using your influencing skills to bring the right people together to work through complex tasks and reach the right outcomes
  • Contributing to and leading standard Agile planning ceremonies (sprint planning, sprint retrospective etc) as well as Daily Stand Ups
  • Supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog and ensuring that key metrics such as time remaining and velocity and understood and followed by the team.
  • Building relationships across the business to help truly understand what our customers want and what will make them happier about money
  • The voice of the business or end user and help your team develop and test software for one of our key digital channels

We need you to have

  • Track record in business analysis within an agile digital environment
  • Demonstrable experience of business change methodologies and processes - including Business Driven Development
  • Proven capability in gathering and documenting complex requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, preferably in Gherkin format
  • Proficient in creating detailed process maps using industry standard techniques
  • Strong capability in complex business impact assessment & analysis across multiple Business streams
  • Experience in analysing data to facilitate informed decision making
  • Comfortable working with both technical & non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative attitude and experience of helping multi-disciplinary teams to deliver user-focused digital products and services
  • A self-starter, well organised and able to work independently on complex tasks

It's a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Experience in partaking in standard Scrum Methodology and Lean Practices
  • An understanding of Banking & Finance organisations
  • Usage of supporting tools across business/technology project disciplines, including a working knowledge of Design/Build/Test and Implementation phases of the project lifecycle
