Remote Working – Covering Bristol – with travel to Liverpool once a month
£40,000 - £45,000 Basic
Our reputable freight client is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to actively seek out and expand on new business opportunities for the company. The role will be responsible for selling and promoting our market-leading services across the UK, utilising their in-depth knowledge of the sea freight market.
Main Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager (SeaFreight)
- Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new business and grow existing accounts within the sea freight sector.
- Engage with key stakeholders to promote our comprehensive suite of shipping solutions.
- Analyse market trends and customer needs to effectively position our services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
Experience and Skills required
- Proven sales experience in the sea freight industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
