Our client is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join their team. Working for one of the colleges, in central Cambridge, you will enjoy an on-site role, working in an inclusive, vibrant and friendly environment.
This role requires you to work on-site most of the week with the option to work from home 1 day. Working 30 hours over 4 days will also be considered.
This varied role, reporting to the Head of HR, requires a pro-active and established HR professional. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate solid experience at HR Advisor or Manager level, with some exposure to over-seeing one or two direct reports.
Typical duties include:
- Delivering a practical, hands-on HR service
- Providing support and guidance to staff and managers
- Supporting a small HR and payroll team
The Successful Candidate:
- In-depth generalist HR experience
- Sound knowledge of employment law
- Experience of managing a small team
- CIPD qualified
- Enjoys a hands-on operational HR role
