Responsibilities:
As a
Management Accountant
, your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing Daily Bank Statements: Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Generating Weekly Cash Flow Projections: Predicting cash inflows and outflows.
- Overseeing Sales Ledger: Managing debt recovery, credit checks, and insurance for clients.
- Compiling Quarterly VAT Report: Reporting on value-added tax.
- Conducting Variance Analysis: Investigating financial discrepancies.
- Preparing Management Accounts: Creating financial reports for review.
- Managing Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Ensuring balance sheet accuracy.
- Calculating Depreciation Expenses: Tracking asset value changes.
- Verifying Stock and Valuation: Assessing inventory.
- Assisting in Annual Budgeting: Contributing to financial planning.
Candidate Specification:
- Previous experience within a management accountant role or similar.
- Must have experience working with a small to medium business.
- Strong Excel skills, including V-Look Ups and Pivot Tables.
- An AAT qualification, with CIMA or ACCA certification being desirable.
