We are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive support to our legal team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent administrative skills, and have a keen eye for detail. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare, type, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and maintain an organised filing system.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with legal standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of court bundles and documents for trials.
  • Communicate with clients, solicitors, and other professionals to schedule meetings and coordinate activities.
  • Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and managing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Support the legal team with research and case preparation as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar administrative role.
  • Familiarity with legal documents, terminology, and the legal process.
  • Excellent typing and IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
