We are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Technician to join a managed service provider based in Sheffield. This role focuses on providing first-line technical support to clients, ensuring efficient resolution of issues and excellent customer service.
Helpdesk Technician (1st Line Support)
Sheffield/Onsite
£25,000 - £27,000
Main Duties:
- Act as the initial point of contact for technical support queries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating more complex problems to senior technicians when necessary.
- Provide assistance with software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities and interactions using the ticketing system.
- Ensure timely resolution of service requests to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist with user account management and password resets.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
- Office 365
- Basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP)
- Remote desktop support tools
