We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Distribution, you will be instrumental in delivering the firm's marketing plans and implementing a wide variety of marketing activities.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Organise and manage a programme of hosted events, including in-house, external, and virtual events from inception to follow-up.
  • Attend events to ensure smooth execution and act as a representative of the firm.
  • Prepare various materials to support marketing and business development initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Distribution.
  • Update client and internal proposition forms and documentation with technical and team functions.
  • Execute marketing campaigns via the website, Google ads, and social media channels.
  • Maintain the website, publish new content, and ensure SEO objectives are met.
  • Schedule and monitor content publishing on social media channels, mainly LinkedIn, and track engagement activity.
  • Manage the firm's HubSpot marketing email account, including template creation, mailing data management, setup and execution of email marketing campaigns, and tracking responses.
  • Provide ad hoc marketing support and activities as required for the smooth running of the department.
  • Deliver monthly reports to the Director of Marketing & Distribution.
  • Comply with Health & Safety Guidelines and demonstrate behaviours in line with the company's values.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate new and varied marketing campaigns. Design experience is desirable.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to research and understand the latest marketing trends and best practices.
  • Highly organised with great project management skills and excellent time management.
  • Excellent command of the English language and communication skills.
  • Professional attitude, hardworking, and a team player.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and flexibility.
  • Sound working knowledge of WordPress, HubSpot, SEO platforms (e.g., Semrush), Canva, Adobe packages, and Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Practical knowledge of LinkedIn and GDPR requirements.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' relevant marketing experience, ideally within a professional services firm.
  • Degree in business or marketing-related areas or CIM qualification is preferred.
