Finance Appraisal Analyst

Butler Rose is working with one of the largest housing associations in London and the South-East in their search for a Finance Appraisal Analyst to join their team. This is a six month contract role with hybrid working (3 days in the office) and will pay up to £350 Umbrella per day to the successful candidate.

This role will provide vital financial support and insight across multiple business units. In this role, you will assist with investment appraisal services and maintain systems that inform key investment decisions and organisational objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach, and a desire to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and reconcile budgets for development programmes, ensuring compliance with approved limits.
  • Manage project suspense accounts and liaise with development teams on variation reports.
  • Maintain and track development cash flows, ensuring accurate data integration between systems.
  • Assist with reviewing and preparing investment appraisals and building safety appraisals for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare project monitoring reports and reconcile budgets for completed schemes.
  • Generate cash flow reports and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Working towards a CCAB-recognised accounting qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience with the PAMWIN appraisal system is must.
  • Strong analytical, Excel, and communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic discussions and support internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn D365 and Power BI.
