Your new company:
You will be joining a Basingstoke-based business on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable credit control department, working within a friendly team environment, with a very low staff turnout. Please note - you must be fluent in both English and Italian to be considered for this position.
Your new role:
You will take full responsibility for your own ledger of accounts. Your varied duties will include:
- Reducing aged debt and positively impacting DSO.
- Chasing overdue, and becoming due payments by telephone and email.
- Working with both customers and internal colleagues to reduce complex queries.
- Reconciling customer accounts.
- Assisting with order release when required.
- Reporting on aged debt and individual customers' debt positions
- Ad-hoc finance administration tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed:
You must be fluent in English and Italian to be considered for this role. Ideally, you will have gained relevant experience working in a credit control, collections, accounts receivable or finance role. You will be confident discussing overdue payments with customers and be pro-active in resolving disputes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build excellent working relationships are also required.
