Hostel Chef

  • Hours 2pm - 8pm (or 3pm-8pm, 1pm -7pm (ideally, 2-8pm)
  • 26 meals - main and pudding.
  • Complete all checks and legal paperwork on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Meeting all dietary requirements if there are any.
  • Keeping to a budget.
  • Ordering all food/stock control and rotation.
  • Utilising the fareshare donated food we get 3 times a week.
  • Ensuring enough and appropriate food for the weekend (so that the staff on shift can cook).
  • Directing KP - who has cleaning and clear up duties only.

Guidant are recruiting for a Brighton based hostel.

Shifts are as and when needed by the client.

Must have previous chef experience.
