Title: Development Chef -Key Accounts
Based: UK & Ireland with occasional overseas travel
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic (negotiable DOE), OTE c£47,000, Company car, pension, 25 days holiday
The Company
A globally renowned powerhouse in the Foodservice Equipment industry which manufactures a full range of premium quality commercial catering equipment sold to the Foodservice and Hospitality sector worldwide. They have production sites in the UK and overseas and their equipment is sold via a network of distribution partners to some of the best-known global Foodservice brands.
The Role
- Providing culinary support including menu and recipe development and equipment support to National Account clients -e.g. chain restaurant and hotel groups
- Delivering regular equipment demonstration and training to distributor sales teams across the UK
- Supporting the culinary team at HQ and reference locations
- Support at trade shows and industry events
- Keeping up to date with the latest culinary trends and concepts which will benefit the demonstration of the equipment brands
The person
We are looking for an experienced Development Chef with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of recipe and menu development with clients
- Must be able to cook and present at the same time
- Outgoing and customer focused with a desire to deliver outstanding customer support
- Knowledge of a wide range of catering equipment and their applications
- Experience of working with or for group foodservice operators beneficial but not essential
- Flexible to travel nationally and stay away from home when required, occasional overseas trips may be required
- Passionate about the Foodservice industry and keen to stay abreast of current trends
- A team player who is happy to engage with and support your colleagues
