Four Squared Recruitment is working with an independent Corporate Approved Inspector in Birmingham, providing professional Building Control services. They are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team and support the business.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments
- Monitoring debtor balances and reducing overdue amounts
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies
- Providing regular reports on debtor positions and cash flow forecasts
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth processes
- Handling queries and following up on payment delays
**Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Proficient in using accounting software and Excel
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
