About the role

Credit Risk has an internal opportunity for a

Senior Credit Risk Technical Specialist

that will take a lead role in developing and delivering model execution activities including analysing outputs and providing insight into trends and movements.

Key activities of the role include.

  • providing technical interpretation of the IFRS 9 requirements.
  • planning and delivering model changes in conjunction with the model development team.
  • Being a key contact for model monitoring and development teams

The role will also involve engaging with key stakeholders to ensure IFRS 9 reporting requirements are met and presenting to senior committees along with responding to queries, as well as mentoring and coaching team members.

About you

We are looking for someone who thrives on analytics and possesses a passion for getting to the root cause of analytical challenges, someone who has worked in a Credit Risk environment as an analytical or technical expert, who is good at establishing and managing relationships across a range of stakeholders and writing and presenting detailed reports to senior management, as well as leading and delivering work for the team.

Your will have a detailed understanding of expected credit loss models and model standards. Your TechnicalSkillset will beadvanced MS Excel, and knowledge of statistical and reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects, IBM COGNOS). Proficient in SAS, and possess the ability to describe complex model outputs using real life scenarios and relate to Society Goals.
