Laboratory Technician
A new and exciting role has come to light for a Laboratory Technician at a leading fabric manufacturer based in the Greater Manchester area. As Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for supporting production from the laboratory by developing products and performing QC checks. You will also be responsible for conducting tests, including colour matching of samples.
To be considered for the Laboratory Technician position you will have previous experience in a production laboratory environment – preferably a coatings or textiles manufacturer. You will also be degree educated in Chemistry or a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate wet samples using various techniques.
- Conduct QC checks on materials.
- Test materials to ensure quality standards.
- Perform colour matching.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Degree educated in Chemistry or a related field.
- Prior experience in a laboratory environment.
- Experience colour matching.
- Knowledge of UV-Vis is highly desirable.
