One of our public sector clients requires a Software Developer to join their customer facing domain on a contract basis.
You will have the relevant skills and experience:
Technical expert using:
- REST APIs
- Java 11+
- Python 3
- Spring Boot, Python Flask microservices
- Spring security and O Auth2
- JavaScript UI frameworks such as React
- HTML / CSS skills
- OpenShift
- DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker
- NoSQL databases, Mongo, Postgres
Commercial experience:
- Designing, gaining consensus, and implementing technical solutions for software development projects.
- Developing within Digital First or GDS quality standards
- Using testing tools for unit testing, such as system test automation frameworks.
- Cloud monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes like Grafana.
- Agile
- Infrastructure as code
This is a 12-month contract, predominantly remote. You will however be required to attend the Edinburgh or Glasgow office occasionally for company wide meetings. This role is paying a competitive salary outside ir35.
