Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits
Future Select specialises in recruitment within the Asbestos industry. We are working closely with an industry leading Asbestos Consultancy who are recruiting within the North West for a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor. The successful candidate will be working predominantly on Commercial and Industrial sites, ensuring to carry out the full range of surveying services in line with HSG 264 guidelines, working alongside the companies established team of surveyors ensuring to maintain the company's high standards and reputation. Due to the nature of the role, our client would consider candidates with a mixed level of experience, including those who hold the BOHS P403 / BOHS P404 qualification and will have experience carrying out analytical services. For the successful candidate, our client can offer further training and progression, company pension scheme and generous holiday allowance.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is essential.
" BOHS P403 / P404 would be beneficial to the role.
" Extensive hands-on experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Will have in-depth knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Excellent communication and time management skills.
" Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
The Role:
" Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label prior to sending for analysis.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER to produce detailed and accurate reports, ensuring to quality check prior to sending to clients.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice.
If BOHS P403 / P404 is held:
" 4 stage clearances.
" Smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" Conducting onsite audits.
" Working line with HSG 248 guidelines.
" Carrying out visual re-inspections upon completion of work.
