Spectrum IT Recruitment have partnered with a market leading FinTech specialist working with the UKs banking sector to provide anti-money-laundering (AML) systems and expertise.
Fuelled by large global investment and significant project demand, they are growing their software engineering function across the board. The role of Solutions Architect is an extension of the software and architecture team with the purpose to provide product behaviour workflows across the platform domain, respond to RFP's and provide technical pre-sales support. It is a mixture of Business Systems Analysis, Systems Design and Solutions Architecture. Leveraging your technical appreciation of software and systems to devise product designs and aid in product roadmap discovery. You'll take non-technical requirements and translate this into technical architecture and high level system designs for the software engineering team.
It's a great role with a varied workload. There is no coding involved in this role but we do require people who have had a career in software engineering and architecture who can see the bigger picture product overview.
The must have skills/experience:
- Experience working with technical pre-sales and responding to RFI documents.
- Enterprise Analysis - mapping of business requirements.
- Experience writing clear and concise Technical Proposals.
- Leading technical workshops; requirements elicitation, solutions design.
- Knowledge of any software programming discipline (and/or); Java, C#, C++, SOLID.
- Sound commercial experience with cloud deployed solutions on either Azure or AWS.
- Managing end to end software architecture and ensuring project delivery.
- Ability to host customer meetings, understand systems & business requirements.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
