The Redline Group are seeking an experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks to support our customer on site in Cambridgeshire. Commutable from Cambridge, Peterborough and surrounding areas, this is a fantastic long-term opportunity to work on key new product development.
Designing and developing intricate and complex electro-mechanical technology, our customer has been a globally-renowned name for many years. You will join a fast-paced design team, tasked with supporting new developments as well as the potential to work on existing product alterations.
Key Skills Required - Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks, Cambridgeshire:
- Proven experience of using Solidworks for 3D design work
- Experience of working on electro-mechanical products with precision design requirements
- Experience in the design of plastic injection moulded and metal enclosures
- Design for manufacture (dfm) experience
This role will not accept candidates operating via a PSC; you will therefore need to operate via an Umbrella company.
