Finance Supervisor
- Annual Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
- Location: Feltham - Fulltime office based role
A returning client of ours in the logistics industry is seeking a Finance Supervisor to join their finance team. This role is crucial for driving our values and culture remotely as it reports to the Finance Manager based off site. The successful candidate will manage a small team of approximately 4-5 members, encompassing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This position is not only supervisory but also hands-on, particularly in supporting AP transactions and handling escalations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee and support the daily operations of the finance team, ensuring efficient transaction processing and effective management of AP and AR.
- Provide hands-on support for AP transactions and act as the first point of contact for escalations.
- Drive initiatives to boost efficiency, support process management, and address cultural requirements within the team.
- Develop strategies to build a competent and efficient finance team for the future.
- Maintain close communication with the Finance Manager and ensure alignment with overall financial policies and objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial supervision and team management, ideally within a similar environment or role such as Team leader or Accounts Supervisor
- Strong understanding of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team remotely.
- Capability to handle transactional duties and resolve escalations effectively.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
