Learning Support Assistant - SEN Schools
Reed Education is seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join our dedicated team, supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) students across various schools in Bradford.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with SEN students in a classroom setting, either individually or in small groups. Your role will be to provide support, promote engagement, and help these students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the head teacher and SENCO.
- Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
- Work closely with teachers to ensure your own contribution aligns with the teaching provided.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with SEN students in an educational or similar setting.
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by SEN students.
- Excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for helping students and a commitment to education.
