Finance Officer

Our client is a prestigious award winning organisation, as a non-for-profit organisation, its not only their customers they look after, but their amazing workforce who are key to their success.

The role:
The Finance department is responsible for overseeing and reconciling all financial transactions into their Group such as premium and administrative income, as well as all financial transactions out such as claims payments, fee/commission payments to intermediaries and payments to suppliers.
Members of Finance are on hand to use their expertise to assist the wider business in a variety of ways for both day to-day tasks and projects.
These include the production of monthly management and annual statutory accounts. The department is also responsible for producing the Solvency II quarterly and annual returns. Reporting and oversight of the investment portfolio is also carried out within the department.

About you:
You will have enthusiasm and an interest in working with numbers and finance. You will have excellent attention to details and hold the ability to prioritise, time manage and meet deadlines to the highest standard. Ideally you will have previous experience using software such as Excel, Outlook, Word and other relevant accounting software. You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and written and a professional and driven attitude to ensure are focused on service standards and customer outcomes.
