Do you have a design background working with structural steel, metal or fabrication? Are you looking for a varied role , within a tight knit team for a market-leading company who will allow you to work on a variety of projects on behalf of blue-chip clients and offer excellent opportunities to progress?
On offer is the opportunity to join an innovative steel works company, where you will be designing steel structures for blue chip companies. They currently have over 50 employees and are looking to expand their team due to increased workload; the working environment has a family feel and they are well known for looking after their staff.
This varied role, will see you working on a range of projects, designing architectural type works using Advanced Steel software such as Autodesk. The role also has some project management aspects where you will be liaising with structural engineers and architects and conducting occasional site visits.
This role would suit someone with a design background in structural steel or metalwork looking to work for a multi-million pound company who prioritise your development, give you project management responsibilities or a role where you will be able to progress into a management position.
The Role:
- Steel structure detailing and fabrication designs
- Project Works for major construction / housing clients
- 8:00 - 17:00 (Monday to Friday)
The Person:
- Background in Design or similar
- Background in Advanced Steel/Autodesk/Tekla or similar
- Commutable to Rochester
