Contracts Manager – Portsmouth

A successful roofing business in Portsmouth are expanding their team of Contracts Managers due to a growth in both commercial and residential projects. This role would suit a proven experienced Contracts manager or perhaps a roofing site supervisor or roofing site manager ready for the next step up.

As their Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contract negotiations, drafting, and execution. This is a key role within our organisation, ensuring the successful implementation and compliance of contracts. You will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse contract terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Draft and prepare contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract deliverables are met.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
  • Resolve any contractual disputes or issues that may arise.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices in contract management.
  • Visit clients within the Hampshire and West Sussex area.

Requirements

  • SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence.
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role- perhaps a roofing site supervisor or roofing site manager ready for the next step up
  • Experience working within roofing
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organised with excellent negotiation skills.

Hours

  • Monday – Friday 8:00am – 17:00pm
  • Office based with travel to sites required.(No remote working)
