NXTGEN are working with highly successful business based in Norwich who are looking for a finance assistant to join a growing team. This position is ideally suited to someone who has experience working as a finance assistant and wants to join a high growth business. As Finance Assistant, your main responsibility will be to support the finance manager in the day to day transactional tasks with some exposure to month end. This role offers ample variety day to day and will play an integral role within the finance function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Produce bank reconciliations
- Escalate customer payment issues
- Fixed Asset management
- Journals, accruals and prepayments (this will be taught and is not essential)
- Process staff expenses and monthly/ad hoc payments
- Code and post Credit Card statements
- Various other duties that may be asked of you by the Finance Director
- Company offers an early finish on a Friday at 12:30
- My client is also offering a study support package for AAT if this is a route you are wanting to go.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a finance assistant. Having great customer service is something that our client pride themselves on, so having exceptional people skills is of course a must. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work individually as well as in a team.
Salary range is £24,000-£27,000 DOE
