Key Responsibilities
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5
- Contribute to the development of the science curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback
- Participate in extracurricular activities and science-related events
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Science Teacher who:
- Is passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists
- Has a strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry, and physics
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
- Is committed to ongoing professional development
- Can work effectively as part of a team and independently
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- Experience teaching science at secondary level (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
