Salary: up to £306.88 per day (PAYE) = £79,788.80 per annum

Application Tester - Responsibilities:
- Main tasks will be testing internal applications which have been developed mostly by using MS.NET C# on SQL Server or Oracle database by SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) procedures and Change Management Control procedures as defined by the client.
- Defining test schedules against about 40 applications where many related application enhancements/maintenance projects are running simultaneously will be required. This will need to be negotiated with individual business departments in order to meet their delivery target dates.
- Identifying the business requirements including generating the Test plan, writing and executing Test Cases and performing functional and non-functional testing. Creating and managing defect logs will also be part of the day to day activities. Therefore, good experience with .Net Framework is essential.
- Communicating with a wide network of users in London and other European branches, as well as Dubai and New York to ensure business requirements are met. Also, finding system solutions under the existing development environments.
- Liaising with the relevant support teams, i.e. Development, Technical Support, Network and Infrastructure, when users experience system problems.
- Communicating with the primary support Helpdesk staff in London and New York to give Application Developers the necessary advice, recommendations etc.
- As a sole Tester in the Application Development team, the individual will be expected to have good leadership abilities in order to maintain and support the requirements and activities of the wider Tester team.
Application Tester - Requirements:
- Business level English
- University degree level
- Understanding of MS .NET Framework environments.
- Proportionate experience of .NET Visual C# development on MS SQL Server and Oracle Database.
- Extensive experience of Windows application development.
- There might be the need to work reasonable overtime at month end, term end or year end.
