We are looking for an experienced BI Developer to join us. Ideally, you will have an understanding of modelling data using the standard methodology and experience in using ETL technologies , so that you can take the lead on designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions within an iterative development environment.
You will work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders to transform and present information into meaningful outputs through reports and visualisations and also act as a mentor to Junior members of the team to ensure their skills and knowledge grow in line with Development framework.
Day to Day you will -
Take lead on delivering project to time and cost whilst managing interaction between stakeholders
Working with stakeholders, analysts and other developers to understand systems and collaborate on the implementation of appropriate BI solutions
Translate business requirements and rules in into technical design specifications
Build and deploy BI solutions using appropriate code standards, configuration and change management process and procedures
Update all development activities in Air Data & Analytics change management database and ensure all statuses follow a development lifecycle
We are looking for -
Proven experience in SQL development and database management
Strong proficiency in PowerBI, SSAS, SSIS, and SharePoint
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Analyses requirements and advises on scope and options for continual operational improvement
Shares own knowledge and experience and encourages learning and growth
Creatively applies innovative thinking and design practices in identifying solutions that will deliver value for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder
Learning and professional development - takes initiative to advance own skills and identify and manage development opportunities in area of responsibility
