They offer varying services as a multi-disciplinary consultancy in the environmental industry, from EIA to Geo-Environmental, Flood Risk, Air Quality, Ecology and more.In terms of projects, they are involved with various complex and rewarding developments across residential, education, infrastructure, transport and data centres.
Your new role
Support the team on a wide range of sustainability advisory projects including infrastructure & building climate assessments, carbon management plans and Environmental Impact Assessments.
Main duties will involve...
- Lead and support on climate focused planning and EIA application projects
- Write chapters that will contribute to an EIA
- Use knowledge of greenhouse gas emissions to advise their client base
- Calculate risk assessments in relation to carrying out climate projects
- Be involved with tendering and the bid process
- Lead on delivery at project level
- Building relationships with clients
- Support more junior members of staff
What you'll need to succeed
- Working experience in environmental planning, EIA, climate change, DCO's or town / urban planning
- Experience in project delivery at a high level
- Knowledge of relevant environmental, carbon and climate legislation
- Experience preparing fee proposals
- A degree in environmental management or relevant subject (desired)
- Experience with emissions or GHG monitoring software (desired)
