Content Management Executive - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

What you'll do

Our client, a leading organisation in the social impact sector, is seeking a Content Management Executive to play an integral role in their Content Team. You will help build the capacity of the team to deliver compelling, purpose-driven content across various channels. This includes crafting, optimising, and managing content to resonate with target audiences, drive engagement, and support organisational goals.

As Content Management Executive, you will:

  • Support content strategy development and execution: Assist in developing and executing content strategies, evaluating their impact and progress to ensure objectives and user needs are met.
  • Champion content guidelines and governance processes: Implement and advocate for content and accessibility guidelines, style guides, and governance processes to ensure brand and editorial consistency across channels and platforms.
  • Drive website content and functionality: Collaborate with the Digital Experience Manager to enhance the website's content and functionality, aligning with the latest usability principles to provide an excellent and accessible customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams: Work with colleagues and external partners, including freelancers and agencies, to translate user needs into compelling stories and successful customer journeys.
  • Evaluate and iterate content: Analyse content performance using analytics, stakeholder feedback, research, and testing to improve user engagement, SEO rankings, and conversion rates.

Who you'll be

This role is ideal for someone with experience in content management or someone with relevant transferable skills eager to make a societal difference.

We are looking for:

  • Content management experience: Proven experience in a similar role, developing and maintaining best-practice content management processes and systems.
  • Excellent writing and creative skills: Strong writing skills and a creative mindset, with the ability to develop innovative solutions, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate complex concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.
  • Web content leadership: Ability to lead web content creation, supporting and advising multiple authors, contributors, and subject matter experts.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and respond constructively and agilely to feedback.
  • Digital marketing and analytical skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, SEO principles, and the use of data and metrics to analyse performance across platforms, inform content decisions, and improve performance.
