Activities & Engagement Partner

Swindon Foyer is set in the heart of Old Town of Swindon and supports some of the most disadvantaged young people in the community. It offers an integrated solution to housing, personal development, and training needs to young people, predominantly aged between 16 - 25.

As our Engagement & Activities Partner, you will develop and deliver creative group work and activities which enhance the opportunities for our customers to learn new skills, improve their employability, recover from trauma, and grow as citizens of their local community.

You will champion Stonewater's commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, recognising and responding to the diversity of our customer based and tailoring a personalised response to individuals needs, ensuring ease of access for all our customers. You will monitor, record and report on the outcomes of group work delivered and build upon and create new partnerships with local organisations that enhance the opportunities on offer to our customers.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an innovative and empathetic approach to service delivery.
  • Have excellent communication skills, able to use a range of communication methods.
  • Be able to work positively and creatively with colleagues and other stakeholders, to ensure the best outcomes for the business and our customers.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to manage concurrent projects at any one time.
  • Be able to demonstrate sensitivity to diversity and be open to the perspective of others.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
