Seeking a passionate female PE teacher!

We're looking for an enthusiastic female PE teacher to join our Preston team and inspire our Key Stage 3 and 4 students. If you're passionate about sports and fitness and eager to make a positive impact on students lives, we'd love to hear from you! This position offers a competitive daily rate of £155 to £230, based on your experience, qualifications, and teaching expertise.

Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging physical education lessons that cater to a variety of skill levels and abilities. You will create a positive and inclusive environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their physical skills. You will also encourage students to set and achieve personal fitness goals, fostering a love for sports and wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive PE curriculum in alignment with educational standards
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
  • Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Organise and monitor extracurricular sports activities and events
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Respond to questioning

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
  • Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal attributes:

  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3 and 4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed
