The responsibilities of the successful Learning Support Assistant will include:
- 1-1 based support throughout the school day
- Participating in interventions and concentrated support
- Adjusting learning material and classwork for students
- Being a role model for the students
- Providing a safe space for students to express themselves
The school have a collaborative approach to educating their students, communicating with parents, educational professionals and experts on site. The role of a Learning Support Assistant includes participating in team meetings with teachers, therapists and educational psychologists to tailor education plans to individual needs of the students.
