Reed Accountancy & Finance is currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for an interim position with our client in Folkestone. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who excels in strategic partnership and has a proven track record of influencing financial decisions within a business.
Finance Business Partner Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insight and guidance on all company decisions and initiatives.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Present financial reports to management teams, highlighting opportunities and risks.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
- Analyse financial data and create detailed reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
- Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.
- Act as a key contact for stakeholders, providing advice and support on financial matters.
Finance Business Partner Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar Finance Business Partner role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems and tools.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term business planning.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is desirable.
