Purchase Ledger Clerk 6 months fixed term contract Based in Henfield (hybrid) £28,000 - £31,000 per annum Ref: TA21264
Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-known business in the Crawley area on a 6-monthfixed term contract.
Your duties will include:
- Inputting supplier invoices onto the system
- Allocating payments in the accounting system to the appropriate codes and ensuring correct codes are used
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Ensuring that invoices are processed and returned promptly to assist good payment performance results
- Contacting suppliers for missing invoices
- Filing and scanning invoices daily
- Supplier statement account reconciliations
- Handle disputed accounts and bring to the attention of the senior management if unable to resolve
Key requirements:
- Experience in purchase ledger is essential
- You must be immediately available
- You must be a car driver due to the location
