I am recruiting for an experienced IT Systems Team Leader role for one of my clients based in London. I am looking for someone who is technically driven and experienced, able to motivate and lead a team, and who has the ability to manage complex technical issues and assist the team in delivering secure applications for end users.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Involved in resolving problems that span multiple disciplines within a support function, including 3rd parties.
- Translate the impact of a technical issue onto a business service will be key to assessing the priority and focus for resolution.
- Positively impacting the IT systems experience across the company.
- Managing effective relationships and collaborating with a broad set of stakeholders across the company, this role will influence the success of the service provided by IT operations.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the IT systems team and ensure standards are set and maintained.
- Support and lead the team to adopt a customer service, delivery, and continuous improvement ethos.
- Effectively engaging and communicating with key stakeholders across the whole technology function and relevant areas of the wider company.
- Responsible for staff development, training, appraisals, and performance management of the team.
- Actively support the resolution of critical and major incidents across your area.
- Design and delivery of initiatives, and participation in working groups and project teams in support of organisational objectives.
- Keeping up to date with, and identifying opportunities to optimise policies, processes, standing orders, financial regulations and other requirements of the organisation and partner entities.
- Maintain system records and high-quality documentation
General requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
OR
- 4 years' experience as a technical team lead / manager in a similar role
- Passionate about enhancing the service being offered across the team.
