Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Rates and Revenue Manager to join our team and lead one of our esteemed properties. As a Rates and Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and achieving financial goals.

You will lead a dedicated team, maintain high standards of service, and drive continuous improvement in all areas of the hotel.

You will be responsible for setting rates and you will play a crucial role in maximising revenue and profitability. You will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue strategies, pricing strategies, and distribution plans to ensure the continued success of the hotel.

What will you be doing as Hotel Manager?

  • Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Set and manage room rates/forecasts and budgets.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and handle guest concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate with head office to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Implement and maintain hotel policies and procedures.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and manage expenses.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with guests, suppliers, and local community.

What are we looking for from our Hotel Manager?

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in rates and revenue management - MUST
  • Passionate about providing customer service at the highest standards
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Positive, pro-active, with a can-do attitude!
