We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at James Cook Hospital. If you have a keen eye for detail and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others, we want to hear from you!
Part time position requiring full flexibility to be available to work 7.5 hours per day/ 4 days per week.
2 Week rota
Mon Tues Sat Sun
Wed Thurs Fri
Pay rate: £11.44 per hour
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the ward hosts, cleaning assistants, back of house catering assistants, porters and retail catering assistants report for duty in good time and are presented in a clean and tidy manner

Provide support and guidance to all staff in each designated service area to support effective delivery of all allocated services

Ensure that meal orders are captured and uploaded by the host in good time for service delivery

Monitor cleaning and catering services against set criteria and operating standards

Provide on the job training and arrange a buddy for new starters or staff returning to work after long period of absence
