Service Charge Accountant - Mixed Use

Flex 3 days in the office, 2 days home
The role: Be the main contact for the client and agent ensuring all financial matters are handled professionally and succinctly.
Duties:
- Take active role in providing management reports, data and analysis
- Ensure the estates financial processes are handled in a timely manner
- Review cost models and agree back to budget
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Monitor insurance claims
- Handle cash management and funding issues
- Prepare monthly and quarterly service charge budget vs actual
- Complete journal accruals and prepayments
- Carry out mid-year reviews
- Complete recharges and subsequent reconciliation
- Work in tandem with the business managers.
- Monitor reserve fund expenditure and track as appropriate
- Prepare funding requests
- Close year end service charge accounts
- Reconcile the balancing charges/Credits
- Circulate demands
- Create statement of funds
- Carry out Balance sheet reviews and VAT reconciliations
- Liaise with auditors regarding company accounts and service charge accounts
Requirements:
- 4 years plus service charge accounting experience either for mixed use or large commercial assets
- Experience of mentoring or team leading would be an advantage
- The ability to prioritise you work load, be organised and methodical in your approach.
