We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a supportive mainstream secondary school, helping SEND students reach their full potential.

About the Role:

As a

Learning Support Assistant

, you will:

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with SEND students, offering tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Assist classroom teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD and dyslexia.
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring students can engage fully with the curriculum.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A caring and patient individual with a genuine interest in supporting SEND students.
  • Experience in a similar role or working with children with special educational needs is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive approach and flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of the students.
