We support the entire business, not just IT, enabling Our Client to move ahead with hiring the right people who can easily express their ideas! You'll be part of a small team formed of both internal and external colleagues, based within the IT Group at Our Client's Headquarters in Cambridge, Two days in the office is expected. You will be strong leader with a can-do attitude, quick to adapt to Our Client's culture. Your attention to detail, careful planning, risk management and monitoring, appreciation of the value of testing and ability to challenge IT colleagues as appropriate will enable you to maintain project momentum and engage our customers to deliver successfully.You will stand out for this role if you have extraordinary people management, interpersonal skills and domain expertise. .Job RequirementsKey responsibilities:
- Manage the project lifecycle of a complex infrastructure implementation from the initial set up and budgeting, including design, build, test and cutover/implementation in line with quality and time
- Drive project delivery through day-to-day engagement with IT teams and business customers
- Lead vendor teams and matrix manage to a high standard
- Effectively communicate project status regularly and manage risk accordingly
- Take ownership of issues, demonstrating situational leadership
- Plan project budgets to a high degree of accuracy
