We are currently looking for a Legal Assistant to join our client, a fast-paced legal conveyancing team based in their Witney office.
This is a great role for those looking to kick start their legal career and enhance their experience in the legal sector. This role will provide valuable support to the conveyancing team.
This is a full-time office based position, working 9am to 5pm and offering a salary of £23,000 to £26,000 depending on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealing with new client enquiries
- Providing sales and purchasing quotes
- Opening new client files
- Liaising with existing and prospective clients
- Dealing with third parties such as estate agents and solicitors
- Submitting property searches
- Preparing Transfer deeds
- Updating and downloading/reviewing client mortgage offers
Skills and Attributes
- Friendly and helpful team player
- Well organised with ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work accurately with a good attention to detail
- Able to use Microsoft Office packages
- IT literate
