Nursing Home Manager - Pin Not Required

I am currently seeking a Nurse Qualified Registered Manager for a small home in Ilminster.

This is a wonderful family ran home with plenty of opportunity to gain a ‘Good' CQC rating and run the home with autonomy.

Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Home Manager:

  • Overall day to day running of the care home
  • Ensuring the highest standard of care
  • Liaise with outside Healthcare professionals regarding care and building positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Managing budgets, ensure targets are met
  • To ensure CQC and company policies are followed and adhered to
  • Recruitment, training and development of skilled staff
  • Develop a marketing plan to promote the home effectively and maintain full occupancy
  • Build relationships, communicate and respond effectively to the needs of families and residents
  • Promote a caring environment for residents through high standards of professional practice

Nursing Home

Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Nursing Home
  • Nursing pin desired but not required
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Excellent decision making and organisational skills
  • A clear understanding of CQC standards
  • Previously registered with CQC
