Job Description:

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating fire risks within various commercial, industrial, and residential properties. You will conduct thorough assessments, provide detailed reports, and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate fire hazards. Your expertise will help our clients comply with fire safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for their employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across various properties and industries.
  • Identify potential fire hazards and evaluate the effectiveness of existing fire safety measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, risk levels, and recommended actions.
  • Provide practical advice and solutions to clients to address identified risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement fire safety management plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest fire safety legislation, technologies, and best practices.
  • Deliver training and presentations on fire safety topics as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Risk Assessor or a similar role in fire safety.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).
  • Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire Certificate, FPA Fire Risk Assessment Competency, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assessments simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to assessments.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
