Trade Counter Sales Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity to join this family-owned builders' merchant in West Hampstead. As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice, processing transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the trade counter.
Requirements :
- Excellent customer service
- Knowledge of hardware and building materials is desired
- Good interpersonal skills, confident and able to approach customers.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
- The ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.
Hours: Monday - Friday - 7.30am - 5.30pm (1 hour break), alternative Saturdays 7.00am - 1.00pm

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist our customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assisting with deliveries in and out of the store
- Dealing with any telephone queries effectively and communicating with customers and colleagues
- Ordering goods
- Respond positively and effectively to customer's needs.
- Assist in the company stock counts.
