Asset Investment Analyst

About the role

Following a development in our team we have opportunities for two permanent Asset Investment Analysts to join the team. The positions are based in Oldham and offer full time permanent contracts. We offer hybrid working where you can work three days from the office and two days working remotely.

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting detailed analysis and interpretation of stock condition and property performance information, and the intelligent design of a comprehensive planned investment programme You will also ensure future component failures and property improvements are proactively identified and undertaken in a planned manner.

Working closely with the Head of Asset Intelligence and Investment, you will undertake detailed analysis and interpretation of repairs trends, histories and use of customer insight data to proactively identify component failures and property improvements. You will also provide support to prepare the forward investment plan by using stock condition and performance data to enable effective financial planning, procurement activities and asset optimisation analysis.

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Proven track record of data analysis to drive improvements in value for money, systems, processes, products and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of current and relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Experience of setting investment programmes.
  • Experience of using Asset Management systems.
  • A proven ability to influence internal and external customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Understand the context of social housing.
  • Ability to work effectively without high levels of supervision.
  • A sound understanding of procurement best practice and legislation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educated to Level 4 (HNC in Data, IT, Finance, Construction or equivalent) or higher.
  • Chartered Surveyor (desirable).
