Your new company
You will work for a busy international Media Talent Agency in the heart of London.

Your new role
In this permanent Senior Accountant job, you will work within a finance division of circa 10 people, reporting to the Business Manager. You will lead your own large portfolio of client accounts, as well as supporting the Director when required. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Regular direct liaison with your client portfolio, maintaining strong relationships, investigating/resolving queries, and advising on client accounting needs
  • Review of financial statements, providing commentary for review, in line with applicable accounting regulations
  • Computation of tax (corporation and personal)
  • Review of client VAT returns
  • Preparing full pack monthly Management Accounts
  • Be a 'go to' person for more junior team members, reviewing and delegating work as appropriate, and providing necessary training
  • Liaison with the tax department (with an understanding of tax accounting)
  • WIP review
  • Management / oversight of client billing

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be an active ACCA/CIMA studier, at finalist level, with demonstrated experience working in industry (Media/Creative/Talent Agency highly desirable but not essential). Exposure to dealing with tours/touring is extremely advantageous. You will be deadline driven with proven experience in VAT returns, Management Accounts, meeting demanding client deadlines, and general Bookkeeping. Whilst this is not a management role (i.e. you won't have any direct reports), prior experience within a supervisory capacity is highly desirable. You'll be a confident communicator internally and externally, at all levels, in both a finance and non-finance capacity.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options are available with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 from home each week (please note that you may be required to be in the office more often during the initial onboarding period, and at busy times such as month/year-end). Benefits include study support, pension, annual discretionary bonus, and private healthcare with BUPA after 1 year of service. This is a friendly team/office with a casual dress code, open plan and social/collaborative environment, and you can even bring your dog to work! You will be contracted to work 37.5 hours per week, with the opportunity for you to work flexibly around core hours of 10am-4pm (Monday to Friday).
