A diverse and inclusive primary school in the Manchester area are currently recruiting for a Teaching assistant role. About the role:
- 240 pupils, ages 5-11
- Offering support to children in a classroom environment and has facilities to support pupils on a 1:1 basis in their own rooms outside the main classroom
- Support the class teacher with preparation of work for the class and managing the class environment
- High proportion of children come from non-English speaking families, some languages spoken include Somali, Urdu & Bengali
- Work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with children to support targeted interventions in areas such as reading, writing and speaking.

- Passionate about making a difference
- Ability to use various techniques to support children in managing their behaviour
- Be patient, supportive and have an understanding approach
- Ability to make learning fun for the children
- Minimum Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent
