Your new job working as a Commercial Broker/ Account Handler, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. Your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused, are growing in all areas and have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their London office Commercial Division a permanent position for Commercial Broker/ Account Handler dealing with Commercial (Retail, Music, Media, Film & TV) risks has arisen.

Your new role

Your new job working as a Commercial Broker/ Account Handler means you will support management and colleagues dealing with clients from inception to completion. Providing a first-class service. You will be responsible for correspondence to Clients, Insurers, and Third Parties, completing transactions in accordance with Client, Insurer and Company requirements, as well as notifying Insurers of changes. Other duties will include processing, checking and dispatching policy documentation to Clients, processing mid-term adjustments allocated, issuing Renewal Review Notices and documentation, process renewals and dealing with the issues emanating from the renewal process and processing, responsible for handling applications for renewals, new business and mid-term premium adjustments.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial Broker/ Account Handler handling commercial business in a similar role will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will be Cert CII or interest in working towards CII qualifications is desirable with previous experience of working in insurance and previous experience working with customers or clients, face to face or over the phone. You will be able to use own initiative and can work as a team player. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult and influence at all levels. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. The ability to develop effective working relationships externally and internally, high personal drive and resilience, ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate and influence with Interest or knowledge of (UK and wider)
