The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of two high-profile business conferences. This is a hands-on role, requiring an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the confidence to work across complex stakeholder networks.

The position involves end-to-end event coordination, from concept development through to execution, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, content curation, and on-site delivery. You will work closely with colleagues across marketing and communications as well as wider business units to ensure seamless execution of all event elements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, development and delivery of two major business conferences.
  • Create engaging event concepts and support the production of compelling content.
  • Coordinate logistics including venues, catering, suppliers, and AV support.
  • Manage guest communications, including invitations, reminders, and follow-ups.
  • Support the management of high-profile speakers, including briefings and schedules.
  • Deliver on-the-day event support, including registration, venue coordination and staffing.
  • Gather and analyse event data to support post-event evaluation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure event themes align with business objectives.
  • Attend and support events outside standard office hours, including occasional travel.
  • Ensure all activity complies with company policies, including procurement and risk management.

Candidate Criteria

  • Minimum 3 year's experience in event planning and delivery, ideally business conferences.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation delivery.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with high-profile stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools for event marketing and reporting.
  • Skilled in managing guest lists, content scheduling, and speaker coordination.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, with willingness to travel and stay overnight for events.
  • Ability to build positive relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in events, marketing, or similar.
